Cool site. I'm always looking for other Illinois bloggers. I'm from deep south Illinois, where it's blue as can be.
Just got back from this event. Way cool. Andrew Bird is a real talent as was Dianogah. Who knew two bass players and a small kit could sound so cool. Here's to songs about winning! Or a guy with a violin, a bunch of samplers and delays, and an over the top restrained wit could be that mezmerizing. Great event that brought a lot of like minded progressives together for a good cause: Obama.
The Hideout is the progressive place to be!
Hi Michael!
Unfortunately, I couldn't make it tonight. I'm glad you went! The Hideout is a super cool place, I agree. They have all kinds of interesting events there.
